What is covered in my Pioneer Homeowners Policy?
Your policy provides coverage for:
Your home, where you reside
Other structures on your property such as a detached garage, fence or shed
Your personal property such as furniture, clothes and other belongings
Expenses beyond your everyday expenses that you incur due to a covered cause of loss
Damages you become legally liable for, as well as legal fees associated with a claim
Medical payments owed by you to someone else

Debris removal
Temporary repairs to protect from further damage
Trees, shrubs and other plants
Fire department service charge
Property removed (to prevent further damage)
Credit card, fund transfer card, forgery and counterfeit money
Loss assessment
Refrigerated products

Glass or safety glazing material
Landlord’s furnishings
Your deductible is the amount you will take responsibility for in the event that a loss occurs, before your insurance begins to pay.
Note: Your deductible is not paid out of pocket, but deducted from the total amount paid for a claim.
When am I covered?
Your home and other structures are covered against all perils.* Your Homeowners Policy also covers your contents for the following perils:*

Windstorm or hail
Explosion
Riot or civil commotion

Vandalism or malicious mischief
Theft
Falling objects
Weight of ice and snow
Accidental discharge or overflow of water or steam
Sudden and accidental tearing apart, cracking, burning or bulging of water heaters & air conditioning units

Sudden and accidental damage from artificially generated electrical current
Volcanic eruption
