With the shortages of surgical masks currently impacting health workers, a few of The Huttenlocher Group’s team members have stepped up to help.
Cherie Warstler from The Huttenlocher Group’s Commercial Department, and her sister Debbie Fournier, have been volunteering their time to help with this crisis. For the past few weeks, Cherie and Debbie have been making surgical masks and donating them to medical centers and hospitals. Together, they have made over 600 masks.
Cheri and Debbie have donated masks to Oakland County, Beaumont Royal Oak, Huron Valley Hospital, Lockwood of Fenton Assisted Living, Oakland Orthopedic Appliances, HeartStart CPR, as well as various nurses in the Hartland/Fenton area.
Deena Jamoua, also from our Commercial Lines Department, has made and donated an additional 150 masks. Along with her guild of quilters, they too have donated approximately 600 masks.
Deena has donated masks to her nursing friends/family and their departments at Beaumont Royal Oak, St. Anthony Nursing Center, Henry Ford Hospital, 2 different Mom and Pop stores, as well as to colleagues within the office.
Ladies, we appreciate you and everything you are doing for the good of the community!
