Pine Lake Country Club donated 400 individual dinners to front line workers at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield.
The Club’s General Manager, Gregory J. Colombo, CCM, has been working at the Club for nearly three years and realizes how close-knit the community is in the Orchard Lake/West Bloomfield area.
“As a club, we wanted to give back to the community and to our healthcare heroes during this hectic time of long hours and hard work,” said General Manager Gregory J. Colombo.
“As most of our club’s amenities may not be essential during this outbreak, we are more than capable of providing an essential service to those working hard keeping everyone else healthy and safe.”
Pine Lake’s Executive Chef Eric Avila and his culinary team provided pre-cooked and pre-packaged individual meals for employees to reheat during their shift. The meals covered all doctors, nurses, administrative staffs and housekeeping for the entire night shift.
“All we hoped was that this would help raise spirits and let our community know we are truly in this together,” Colombo said
